Unbeaten heavyweight contender Magomed Abdusalamov will now work with trainer John David Jackson, promoter/ advisor Sampson Lewkowicz told Boxingscene.com Wednesday evening.

Abdusalamov (18-0, 18 KOs) had recently been working with trainer Danny Garcia in Ventura, CA. Abdusalamov had been residing in the Oxnard area.

Lewkowicz also said the Russian-born Abdusalamov might return to the ring in October, but nothing is set.

I saw him here in San Antonio at the Knockout Kings undercard, he had Andrew Cancio fighting on the non-televised portion of the show.
