    Unbeaten middleweight contender Gilberto Ramirez Sanchez will fight Julio Cesar Garcia on August 24th, Top Rank matchmaker Bruce Trampler told Boxingscene.com Monday night.

    The scheduled 10 round bout will headline a "Solo Boxeo" telecast on UniMas.

    Also on the Top Rank Promotions card will be unbeaten super bantamweight Jessie Magdaleno in a scheduled eight round bout.

    Sanchez (25-0, 20 KOs), from Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico, knocked out Juan De Angel in the third round of his last fight in Mexico City. He is ranked in the the top ten in two of the major sanctioning bodies.

    Bet you Magdaleno gets the very popular TBA. They need to put him on ShowBox against another unbeaten prospect like a lot of prospects are doing. Sink or swim time.

      Except TR and Showtime don't do any business together. This includes shobox. Either way, Jessie is exciting.

        I don't think the limitations would be there on the lesser ShoBox for one of those 3 fight cards as it would be for a main event or co-main event on Showtime. He is not a name yet and ShowBox is the perfect opportunity because they demand prospects fight prospects. If not there, they need to test him on ESPN or on an HBO undercard against a fighter with a pulse.
