Comments Thread For: Brandon Rios: A New Superstar Will Rise in November

Manny Pacquiao expects an all-out slugfest when he fights American Brandon Rios in Macao in November.

The famous Filipino, once rated as the best boxer in the world, pound for pound, hopes to win again and silence calls for his retirement after two consecutive defeats.

Pacquiao, whose record now stands at 54-5-2, including 38 knockouts, returns to the ring on November 24. In his most recent fight, in Las Vegas last December, he was knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez.

Undeterred, the 34-year-old Pacquiao has lined up a non-title welterweight fight with the aggressive Rios for his first fight in eight months and his first in Asia in seven years.

"It's going to be a good fight because Rios loves to fight toe-to-toe. He loves action in the ring," Pacquiao told reporters in Macao on Saturday. [Click Here To Read More]

Far i remember Mayweather is not even his own boss anymore and he has to do what is told to what's best for everybody. And his little mind games may offend others and all, but know he's under contract and managed by "showtime" to which they have to be responsible in recognizing how it could/would affect & reflect their businesses from service perspectives, if unable to provide millions of their customers ultimate wishes that's been in the palm of their hands. So the boss now really-

Can't really get excited about this fight. A guys who has his foot out the door trying to save his career by a fighting a very mediocre fighter.

I look to see Rios putting this guy in the same sleeping position Marquez did around round 5 or 6. Every since Manny had to stop juicing he's looked below average starting with Bradley. Then getting clocked by Marquez the first time only to get KTFO later says this guy was ducking that test from the start. Sorry Pac fans but your hero cheated the system for a very long time and its coking back now to haunt him. Rios wins this fight by KO..........

No. It'll just show Pacman was just an (arum) built myth.
