Willard was seen as a mammoth of a man, 60 pounds heavier than Dempsey and had beaten the great Jack Johnson. He wasn't a dominant champ, but he doesn't get respect for what he did accomplish, even though the circumstances were poor perhaps.

holyfield-valuev wasn't close at all and if you can't beat a 46 year old holyfield are you a good fighter? maybe old men who barely throw any punches are just a bad style match up for him?
Another couple of years of dominance with a few more good wins over previously undefeated fighters: Povetkin, Pulev, Boytsov, Fury (if he beats Haye), winner of Ruiz-Hanks, and/or Jennings and he'll be top 5.
