Comments Thread For: Tim Bradley Focused To Give Marquez His Final Defeat

Undefeated WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (30-0, 12 KO's) said the fight with Juan Manuel Marquez (55-6-1, 40 KO's) is happening at the right time. Bradley wants to give the Mexican veteran his final defeat as a pro. Marquez, 40-years-old, came close to retiring for good after knocking out Manny Pacquiao in the sixth round of their fourth battle last December in Las Vegas. Bradley won a controversial twelve round decision over Pacquiao last June. He wanted to get Marquez in the ring before the Mexican star walked away from the sport. [Click Here To Read More]

    I agree with Tim.

I think it would be fitting for JMM's legacy if JMM again gets robbed of a victory. JMM has been robbed so many times of victory, it defines him.

Hopefully that does not happen to JMM, it is about time that Bradley gets the bad end of a decision, as his last two supposed wins were outright loses to both Pacquiao and Ruslan Provodnikov.

It is up to Tim how he goes into this fight. If he fight from the outside, using spead and movement he can win (even if it's boring) If he stays and trades with Marquez, Marquez will damage him bad. You never see Marquez's counters coming.

That's what Pacquiao said and JMM laid that hoe out.

I doubt Bradley can win an outside boxing match against JMM...he just doesn't have sharp enough skills or the precision punches needed to out-box Marquez. I think a lot of people are going to be surprised at how one-sided Marquez beats him..
