  • Comments Thread For: Price Plans To Continue, Lewis Promises To Fix Stamina

David Price has vowed to continue fighting in the wake of Saturday's devastating second defeat to American Tony Thompson at the Echo Arena.

The Liverpudlian was hoping to avenge his first-ever loss in professional boxing at the weekend in a re-match with Thompson, but succumbed to a fifth-round stoppage.

It has already been suggested Price could consider hanging up his gloves following a second straight defeat, although he has been quick to deny he will be calling it quits.

Price will give himself time to digest the stoppage by Thompson, stating losing again to the American was not part of the script.

Could Price become the Scouse Audley? His ability to take a punch is embarrassing, I think he has no chance of a world title, maybe a European level heavyweight.

I talk a lot of smack about the UK Fighters but that's only because arguing with the UK fans has become more fun than arguing with the Filipinos and those ***ual confused Puerto Ricans. With the Filipinos and Ricans, everyone is a Hater with a Z at the end, which I find to be an example of poor grammar. The UK fans may be delusional but their grammar is amazing. All Jokes aside, I think Price still has a future in Boxing and if the late great Emmanuel Steward were still alive, he would of been the perfect trainer. Maybe David Price should look into training under Jonathan Banks for a month or two just to see if he improves. Price looks like a nice guy and even though I found the KO funny I do feel bad for ol buddy and hopes he recovers and returns to the ring.

Initially I thought before the fight if he loses he shouldn't retire but after that pathetic performance I've completely changed my mind.

There's no reason for him to retire. Not everybody can be World beaters. He can still fight on domestic level and make Money.

Seeing how Lennox looked was the shocker of the night for me. It must've been a while since I've seen him, but he almost looks sickly. Hopefully all is well with him. Anyway, there's nothing Lennox can do to fix Price's chin.

I think he burnt a lot of with nervous energy, he looked scared on the way to the ring and the way he was bouncing around erratically the first few rounds was crazy. He stepped up too quickly. Can't go from Audley Harrison to someone fresh of a world title shot in one jump. He completely missed European level and psychologically he might not recover.

Its hilarious to see British posters rip Price's chin because after the fight was over Steve Bunce was adamant that Price proved his whiskers by taking so many punches and finishing the fight on his feet.... lmao I know.... Brits are so delusional the excuses when their fighters lose are so much more entertaining than the fight.

Lewis clearly wants to be a Doctor, handing out ****** medical excuses like blood sugar to excuse an inferior fighter losing to a far superior opponent. Just another example of how resentful he is of Dr. Vitali and Dr. Wladimir.
