that's an accurate assessment of how the fight actually went. It was definitely more like a 6-4 Gonzalez win than a 5-5 draw, and although not a robbery it was tough to see Oosthuizen winning six rounds of that fight.

No problem with a draw but Gonzalez probably should've won.

The judging in this fight stunk. Gonzalez won easily and dominated at least six rounds.

I agree with the HBO scoring except that I scored the first round for Oothuizen. It was a close round but I thought the S African was more active and landed more punches. I could be wrong though

i had it 96-94 gonzales, saw the fight again on Sunday and came out with the same score. i knew the scoring with be shady since they had feldman and samartino as judges.

I thought Gonzalez won the fight. I agreed with weisfeld's scorecard.

i had it Gonzalez up by a round but wont argue with a draw, Gonzalez just needs the experience n he will school this dude easier next time

i thought tommy gun closed the fight good and made it a close fight but i had gonzales winning for the most part.

seems gonzales was rushed a bit but his awkardness and craftness won him the fight imo.

Gonzales won. The style match-up made Oosthuizen look crude and limited.
