This Wednesday saw some of Britain's most iconic boxing figures coming together for a game-changing announcement for UK boxing. Frank Maloney, Barry McGuigan and Ricky Hatton joined me at the iconic Frederick's restaurant in Islington to announce that we will be teaming up on BoxNation to bring boxing fans the fights they crave to see.
Boxing politics has often stopped big fights from taking place and this has often led to fans missing out. With rival broadcasters and egos in the way of making fights, it means that however hard you try to get a fight made, it has no hope of happening.
I have always strived to make the big fights for my stable and find it disheartening when they don't happen for reasons out of my control.
