  • Comments Thread For: Pulev vs. Dimitrenko Rematch is Put in Play By EBU

EBU heavyweight champ Kubrat Pulev have a new official challenger and that is Aleksander Dimitrenko. The EBU have set July 10 as deadline for purse bids.

Pulev, 17-0, beat Alexander Ustinov in September of 2012 in a defence of the EBU title that also was an IBF eliminator. He has since waited for a final IBF eliminator and for a long time it seemed as if it would against Tyson Fury but he pulled out just before the deadline for purse bids June 1. Gaaaaaaaaaaaay.

Not Pulev's fault, though. No mofo wants to fight his Bulgarian ass.

Kubrat Pulev is getting treated unfairly by the sanctioning organizations.

Why should he need to fight someone he's already stopped?

They should make Boytsov, Helenius or someone else the mandatory.

Pulev should ask Fury and Adamek to face him at same time, they both run away again.

Boytsov should be ordered by EBU to face Kubrat,it is a joke.Dimitrenko is hopeless it does zero for Puelv career.I hope he tells them **** you.have your belt, give it to loser Dimitrenko.how would Dimitrenko feel then,he's useless and he knows it.

I hope Boytsov and Helenius is ordered by WBO for Wladimir mandatory.amd Chagaev named IBF final eliminator with Pulev.Pulev need no Euro belt he is world class unlike Helenius and Dimitrenko.Boytsov v Pulev would be a war of men.Dimitrenko v Helenius a playground slapfest.

Pulev should just vacate the EBU title. He's a world title contender.

no no no no if Pulev is smart he won't put up with that BS. He's slowly becoming one of the most avoided fighters in the sport—he should be Wlad's next opponent, regardless of the Haye-Fury outcome.

What the fcuks the point of this? Pulev will throw the title in the bin then. We'll probably see Dimitrenko vs Helenius now, which in fairness I wouldn't mind seeing.

Agree 100%. Forget the EBU. Fight Chagaev or Boytsov and wait for a title shot after the Klitschko vs Povetkin fight.
