Round by Round Coverage; Manny Pacquiao vs. Erik Morales

The first major fight of 2006 will set televisions on fire. Erik Morales (48-3, 34 KOs), looks to rejuvenate his career by scoring another victory over Filipino sensation Manny Pacquiao (40-3-2, 31 KOs). Pacquiao looks to gain a measure of revenge for his 2005 unanimous decision loss to Morales.

Morales, coming off an embarrassing loss to Zahir Raheem, appears to be on the downside of his career. Usually after suffering a defeat, Morales come back better than ever. This marks the first high profile rematch of Pacquiao's career. It will be interesting to see if Pacquiao has made the proper adjustments to win this fight. Morales, now with a new trainer, is also talking about various adjustments made to his style.

The winner of the fight is likely to land a high profile rematch with 130 pound king Marco Antonio Barrera. Both fighters predict a knockout, the boxing world predicts a classic. [details]

Asians won't stop betting on him no matter who he fights so the betting sites have to make him an underdog.
