Comments Thread For: Golovin Advises Rid**** Bowe To End Kickboxing Run

As reported earlier, Rid**** Bowe's debut in Thai kickboxing ended with a thud in the second round on Friday. Wincing in pain and clutching his shins, the 45-year-old former heavyweight champion limped out of the ring in Pattaya, Thailand, and admitted: "It's much harder than boxing.”

Known as “Big Daddy," Bowe took a big beating from his 30-year-old Russian opponent Levgen Golovin, who assaulted the former champion with repeated kicks to the shins. Bowe lost his balance and fell five times before the bout was ended by technical knockout after his last fall. [Click Here To Read More]

Astonishingly sound advice. No Rid****, it isn't harder than boxing, you're just a quitter with a poor work ethic. You show up looking unserious, lose, and then claim kickboxing is harder? You embarrass yourself yet again, hell, it would be more entertaining if you kidnapped someone again......

I wish I could get someone to pay me $150,000 to kick me in the legs.

Boxers go to the MMA to die, not to revive a career. These guys are sideshows at this point, many boxers train from early ages in their sport. Making a late transition to a sport that's unfamiliar is nearly impossible.

Look at the way he came into the fight, nothing different really, the same lack of desire and discipline. How could this guy win, or better yet how could anyone take this match seriously?

Most sports are defined by their winners not their losers.
