Comments Thread For: Hearn Explains Warren's Quigg-Frampton Offer, More

As you may have gathered, the U.K. boxing scene is slightly topsy-turvy. We don’t do things in moderation; it is either a case of tumbleweeds at dawn or a night at the opera. The unveiling of Scott Quigg as a Matchroom fighter on Wednesday afternoon followed on from Carl Frampton’s move to Frank Warren and BoxNation on May 30 and has thrown the British boxing community into a bit of a tizz.

I'm a bit shocked Frampton has ditched Matchroom and Sky to go to Frank Warren and Boxnation. It wouldn't be so bad if Boxnation could provide the numbers but they can't. They're struggling to get subscribers and Sky continue to put on great shows with Matchroom. Frank Warren's time is over. Smart fighters know his tactics and either leave him or don't go with him in the first place.

I like Frampton but if he thinks he's going to get more exposure on a channel that hardly has any viewers, he's crazy!
