A PUMPED-up Les Sherrington continued his career surge with another electric victory at Toowoomba's Rumours International last night.
Sherrington thrilled his adopted home-town crowd with a second knock-out win over Paraguay national champion Jorge Gomez Perez.
The WBF world middleweight champion and WBO world number eight sent the visitor crashing to the canvas 2 minutes and 17 seconds into the round.
Gomez regained his feet but referee Alan Moore waved an immediate end to the bout without the need to apply a mandatory eight count on the Paraguayan.
