WBC silver junior welterweight champion Roberto "Massa" Ortiz (28-0, 22KOs) will face Jorge Romero (10-49-1, 6KOs) in Tabasco, Mexico. WBC President Jose Sulaiman gave his stamp of approval to promoter Pepe Gomez of Cancun Boxing. Ortiz is staying busy and waits for the World Boxing Council to position him for a major shot at the championship, which is currently held by Danny Garcia.

Wrong Jorge Romero. The guy Massa is fighting is 24-5. Should be good while it lasts.
