Benn was great for boxing no doubt.

You're bound to have losses when you fight the best and take risks.

Some people respect a loss more than a win

Honestly Calzhage is ahead just for a Hopkins win. Now if froch rematched and beat Ward then hell yes.

This has been discussed numerous times! The consensus is that Carl's resume ****s on most people's resumes whether in the same division or not. Carl fights absolute everybody.

Froch has the better resume out of the two.

when talking about resumes you can't possibly include calzaghe beating hopkins because he didn't. you can say he fought him and looked like a clown. that would be correct.

Fitzsimmons wasn't a UK boxer. He was born in England but his family moved to New Zealand when he was a young child. he did all his fighting in Australia and America. He never fought in England, and there is no record of him ever visiting there, as far as i know. Perhaps you know more.

I believe that Calzaghe's record, whilst not being greatly better than Froch's will cause him to be regarded as the better of the two and I have no doubt but that if they'd met, Calzaghe would have beaten him fairly comfortably.

The top names that Calzaghe has on his record are generally of a higher calibre than those on Froch's., except Ward.

You missed out Chris Eubank and Charley Brewer, both top world champions.

Also, Ted "Kid" Lewis was always regarded as the best British fighter of the whole 20th century. Fitzsimmons wasn't regarded as a British fighter.
