Why? Hopkins is dull. There would be great pre-fight banter, sure; but the fight itself would STINK.

Hopkins is desperate for one last payday. Froch shouldn't give him one.

Beating Kessler would secure Froch's legacy as far as I'm concerned. He's definitely a hall of fame fighter.

He's now the main man in the UK. It's was Hatton and Calzaghe but now Froch is a big name and he'll makes those 2 money.

Froch's also an exciting fighter and a good talker. A fight against either of those two has cross over appeal due to the UK US thing. It sells both sides of the pond.

If its based in the UK fans will come out in huge numbers and if its based in Vegas/MSG british fans will travel in huge numbers. Both fights would do big PPV both sides of the Atlantic but more so Hopkins as he is a better known name in the UK at the moment to the general sports fan.

Hopkins Ward I don't think would do great ticket sales as both fighters are classed as boring. Personally i'd love to see that fight as technically it would be great but most fight fans don't want to see a chess match of the highest technical order but a ding dong.

I don't think Hopkins will look to be boring against Froch though, if you look at the Pascal fights he took it to him and I think he'll look to make a far more exciting fight against Froch.
