It wasn’t much of a return for Anthony Peterson after an extended layoff, but it was a return nonetheless, two rounds with Dominic Salcido that ended with an abrupt technical knockout win this past Saturday night on the Atlantic City undercard to his older brother Lamont’s fight with Lucas Matthysse.

The end came because Salcido suffered what was believed to be a broken nose, though he could be seen protesting the stoppage in his corner. The win brought the 28-year-old Peterson to 32-1 with 21 KOs (Salcido is now 18-5 with 9 KOs). [Click Here To Read More]

That was a bs stoppage man. The doctor who stopped it couldn't even walk normal that's how old he was. They were calling him for like 30 seconds straight and he couldn't even hear. And it wasn't loud in there either...

I understand the guy was there to lose and was gonna lose but damn don't rob us of a fight.

¿What's wrong with Anthony Peterson? First he says he's a "Legend" in the making, when the ONLY credible opponent he's fought is Brandon Rios & he was knocked down & was loosing that fight before he got disqualified(maybe in his own mind he's a legend)Then he said he would like to face the world champions of the division & mentions Miguel Acosta, ¿Hasn't anyone told him yet that Acosta lost his title 2 years ago against Rios? Or maybe he's referring to IBF champion Miguel Vazquez, but if that's the case, he should know & make sure who he's calling out.. & then he said he fought 14 TIMES in 2006, when he actually fought 7 times(half of what he claims) & doesn't even mention 2005 which is the year he's fought the most times(10), against TOMATO CANS, but he did stay busy...He should take time off to clear his mind & get his story's straight..

He needs to prove himself before mentioning champs. Lets see him fight some contenders and see how he does. Notice how he conveniently didn't mention Vasquez or Abril.
