  • Comments Thread For: Khan: I’ll Be Stronger, My Chin More Durable at 147

Amir Khan says his planned move to the welterweight division will not only make him stronger offensively, but will shore up one of the defensive weaknesses that others have been able to exploit — a shaky chin.

Khan, who was in Atlantic City on May 17 to watch his younger brother Haroon fight, spoke very briefly with David P. Greisman of BoxingScene.com and Tim Starks of Queensberry-Rules.com. [Click Here To Read More]

Sometimes, I think Khan is deliberately trolling us with these quotes.

I don't think he realizes he's going to come up against bigger & stronger opponents at 147 then 140.

Anybody who is tall as or taller then Khan has giving him fits.

If he thought Maidana hurt him at 140 just how much more at 147 if they ever rematch...

Tbf to Khan, it did marginally improve when he moved up. The Khan that got sparked by Limond would never of survived the 10th with Maidana.

He seems to have reverted back from glass to biscuit recently so maybe there's some truth in what he says?

Time and a few good shots will tell.
