BoxingScene.com has been informed that former champion Humberto Soto (60-8-2, 34KOs) will return on June 8th in Tijuana, Mexico against Japanese junior welterweight Hiroshi Nakamori (33-5-1, 20KOs). Soto has won two in a row since suffering a fifth round TKO loss to Lucas Matthysse last June. He shouldn't have too much trouble with Nakamori, who lost his last two by TKO.

Nice to see an honest assessment of a fight. Too many of the write-ups make fights sound like death struggles when in truth it's some "champion" or top contender fighting a cupcake or a 45-year-old who hasn't won a meaningful fight in a decade
