Khan may be the next fight after Alexander.....he needs an impressive win first. He got it handed to him in his last fight by a past it fighter who he was like an 8-1 or 12-1 favorite over. Floyd would want Khan to get a solid KO first.

Leonard Ellerbe already told the BBC that Floyd wants to fight in the UK before he retires. If that doesn't hint at a Mayweather vs Khan fight as something that is already in the works I don't know what does.

Khan has just seen how Guerrero got the fight by constantly calling Floyd out and thinks it's going to work for him. Probably will, sad really. He's a GBP fighter after all so let's be honest, it'll probably happen. Personally, unless he rematches Garcia and Peterson and knocks them both out or wins a one sided fight, and then goes on to beat Matthysse, he shouldn't even be on the shortlist for a fight with Mayweather.

The thing is "no body dictates to Floyd Mayweather", so Khan needs to wait in line, Floyd has 5 more fights.

Let see Khan move up to 147 first. If he looks good at the weight I don't see why he shouldn't get his shot. Apart from Canelo every other fight is a mismatch for Floyd so why not let Khan have a go, at least he has the speed to trouble Floyd if nothing else.

that means either, becoming the top at 140 - hell you even got your chance at that handed to you by only having to fight the winner of a manufactured "elimination to fight amir" tourney, or beating brook then alexander to establish yourself as the top 147 after floyd.

so far after getting ko'd off garcia you have beaten two career lightweights, and one of those was touch-and-go! so why would you even think you should be considered for one the remaining 5 fights on that contract?!
