Nothing new. He wants no part of Mayweather because according to him:

" floyd is difficult becuase he does'nt like to fight. if the people want to watch a great fight, they need two fighters in the ring..maywaether doesnt want to fight, doesn't like to fight ..and in this fight (Pac 3), i think the difference is the weight becuse he dont give the weight(dont know what he meant there) and ah, he does'nt like to fight , mayweather ..it's very different , he does'nt like to fight and ah i want to fight ..and in this fight on nov 12, eh manny and me, everybody will be watching two warriors in the ring, that is the diffrence"

I actually think JMM would do much better if they fought again. To bad we would never get to see it.

Remember that the fight was contracted at 142 at first, then floyd gets hurt* and then the fight is reworked to a limit of 144 and then we all know what floyd did at the weigh in.
It didn't say any of this and the fight was at 144 from jump but Floyd came in over weight. Making $#!t and putting words in Marquez's mouth. Not once did he try to discredit Floyd.

This article isn't stating correctly everything he said. He said "what happened in the past bothered him because of what the promoters did with the catch weight and what floyd did they and they should go their separate ways." They also asked him if he were to fight mayweather again would it be different. He said floyd had too much weight advantage and it might be different because he's fought at welterweight 3 times but that its in the past and they should both go their separate ways.

Style is all wrong for the older Marquez: Counter puncher vs counter puncher

Marquez needs a come forward guy. As Marquez said, "Floyd doesn't like to fight". Even more so now that he is 40 but he fought now at 135, 140 and 147 several times so he is better adapted.

Everyone knows that but that doesn't change this: Floyd fought a Marquez that had just moved up from 130 to 135 but fought Floyd at 147.

Hey im big marquez fan but what is he then refering to when he says that the way things were handled by the promoter and even mayweather left him bothered. Bothered by the way the fight ended, sure, but thats not what he refering to. He doesnt mention the weight specifically but common sense will tell you that s what he meant.
