  • Comments Thread For: Eddie Hearn on Haye, Fury, PPV, Froch vs. Kessler

Matchroom’s Eddie Hearn has often talked about his desire to bring a heavyweight to his burgeoning stable. Not just any old heavyweight, either, but one that can bring in punters, satisfy TV audiences and headline big bills. Hearn has been speculatively linked with Anthony Joshua and a few other big guys yet few expected to see him link-up with David Haye, which is what happened earlier this week when the “Hayemaker” signed a four-fight promotional deal with Hearn.

            David Haye is a punk.

Fleeces British fans for years, retires, then comes back to put on ****ty PPV fights for the only fans in the world ****** enough to pay for them.

Klitschko's continue to make more money fighting on free TV and all this wanna be Haye can do is focus on when he can start charging his fans extra money to watch him.

Hearn is moving mountains in the UK but he has zero competition because all other UK promoters are not reliable so SKY said go fark yourselves the whole lot of you....not you, Eddie...

Im american but i really dig the way the brits do boxing. I loved the haye-chisora fight, Hatton's comeback, Froch-kessler 2 will have a great crowd atmosphere. Gavin rees coming over and giving his best vs broner. Fury, Price etc. I just really like the british boxing scene. Its so different than americas. We dont get big domestic fights like Wilder vs Mtichell or something like that.

Watch the Burns - Mitchell fight to see a great domestic fight. Don't get an atmosphere like that anywhere else, Burns fighting on Saturday again.
