Comments Thread For: Guerrero: It is Time For Floyd Mayweather's "0" To Go

Boxer Floyd Mayweather will return to the ring after a year's absence, risking his World Boxing Council welterweight title against Robert Guerrero.

Unbeaten Floyd Mayweather returns to the ring on Saturday after a year's absence that included a jail stint, risking his World Boxing Council welterweight title against southpaw Robert Guerrero.

Mayweather, 43-0 with 26 knockouts, went to jail last June for domestic violence and, since his release eight months ago, has worked to regain fitness to defend his place atop the list of boxing's money-makers.

Hopefully the ghost pulls it off, but I highly doubt it. There is no denying the skill and attributes that mayweather posseses. Floyd by ud after a galant effort via the challenger.

Guerrero was wide open the whole night when pressing Berto. The reason he wasn't put away was because of his chin and because it was Berto.

It's staggering there's a Guerrreo thread where many predict an upset tonight. yes it's possible- one punch, Mayweather's age, and all that. But that's about all Guerrero's chances consist of.

You would think Guerrero's last fight was against a prime De La Hoya or prime Cotto the way people are hyping the Berto win. Berto gets hit ALL the time, even when he wins the fight. Lets not forget he got dropped by a 39 year old Casamyor. I think he will have the heart to make it interesting but not enough skill to win.

LMAO. Guererro's only chance is if he brings his gun. He's getting knocked out. The guy has no defence, he will be cut all over.

I guess that's what you call selling a fight. Floyd doesn't seem worried at all.

I will say Guerrero has some ability to adjust to fighters, that's about his only hope.

If Floyd jr knows that he's gonna beat Guerrero, then he should be hinting who's gonna be his next opponent?

But, the father and son Guerrero are talking about ending that "0" the very ego of Floyd Jr!; and if indeed there gonna be an upset then a REMATCH...

Hopefully, if Floyd jr wins this fight, he should face the winner of Bradley vs Marquez or adds weight and face Martinez or Canelo! He should fight those listed in the top ten P4P.
