Less than a week removed from his biggest career win to date, Bermane Stiverne has been delivered his most promising news as a professional prizefighter.
Negotiations are officially underway for the once beaten heavyweight contender to next face Vitali Klitschko for a heavyweight title. The WBC notified both camps that Stiverne is now the official mandatory challenger, thanks to his HBO-televised 12-round rout over Chris Arreola on the road last weekend in Ontario, California.
