He was more active than Broner, throwing about twice as many punches, so he was bound to miss more punches but Broner missed quite a lot of punches too. It was a close fight. Watch it again, maybe you forgot how it played out.

He definitely improved since that fight and he was only 21 so he put up a decent effort against a crafty vet, he just didn't win the fight.

uh no not clearly. sorry my man. it was far from clear. if somehow broner wasn't the next biggest thing coming up, and they gave the fight to PDL, no one would be outraged. imo, it was a draw at best. and thats ok cause broner was still green. right now i would bet everything on broner, but PDL gave it to him, and to say broner clearly won is nothing short of bias. no offense, but it is...

A draw I could understand because it was a close fight. I thought Ponce De Leon took 6 rounds and Broner 4 so I guess one of those rounds you had it reversed. There were a few close rounds so that's understandable.

I had it 96-94 to Broner.

Very close fight, robbery is out of the question.

However if you are so anxious to find a Broner beater, look no further than Fernando Quinterro who I thought beat Broner. Totally outclassed him by circling him and changing angles. Broner got the MD in the 8 rounder. But I gave Quinterro 5 rounds. Still no robbery, but yeah, it was one fight where the Problem was solved imho.

i would have to go with broner.

"did PDL get robbed against broner?" woulda been appropriate title for where you're trying to go with this. and for what its worth, i had it a draw

I just watched it again, Ponce De Leon definitely beat Broner in my opinion, it was a close 10-round fight but Ponce De Leon took the last two rounds to secure the victory. Lederman had Ponce De Leon winning too. Broner's team gave off that vibe before the scorecards were read that they knew Broner lost the fight.

The fight is on YouTube if you haven't seen it, worth watching, pretty entertaining with a lively crowd. Go refresh your memory then drop your vote in the poll and scorecard.

I had 96-94 Ponce de Leon.

6 rounds to 4 for Ponce. A lot of people had it 7 rounds to 3 for Ponce but there was a close round in there that "could" have gone to Broner.
