WBA welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi (37-4, 7KOs) has unleashed only a minor portion of his verbal fury, according to the boxer. He wants to punish WBC lightweight champion Adrien Broner (26-0, 22KOs), who is moving up by two weight divisions to challenge Malignaggi on June 22nd at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Malignaggi has no respect for Broner's rise in the sport, stating that he believes the boxer's influental adviser, Al Haymon, helped him secure a good position in the sport by beating soft competition.

In all fairness, Demarco was the best in the division. Broner is still nowhere near the top ten P4P, so he's way overrated, but to say he hasn't fought anyone just isn't true.

Broner will hand the belt to Floyd and then go down to 147. lol I would love to see them fight, but I doubt it would ever happen. Broner should clean out 140 if he can and then when his idol retires, then he should go up to 147.

I have a feeling though that if the Ghost beats Mayweather, he's going to call out Broner. Titles would be on the line.
