Comments Thread For: Weights: Canelo 153.5-pounds, Trout 153.25

The weights are in for Saturday night's highly anticipated junior welterweight unification between WBC champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (41-0-1, 30KOs) and WBA king Austin "No Doubt" Trout (26-0, 14KOs). Canelo was the first boxer to weigh in, and looked ripped and ready at 153.5-pounds. Trout then stepped on the scale, also looking ripped and in perfect shape, and came in at 153.25-pounds.

Trout looked huge at that weigh in. Hope we get to see the fight night weights tomorrow!

this was maybe the best weigh-in Ive ever seen. Both guys are huge for the weight but both guys made the weight by a good amount and look very healthy. They were super fit. Both are young and near there prime physically. You can just tell that they both truly came to win and didnt cheat the sport. I love it. Someone will lose but it wont be due to them not putting in the full effort in camp or leaving anything in the ring. I assure you that
