Comments Thread For: Chisora: David Price Was Caught By a Lucky Shot

Dereck Chisora has urged David Price to make swift work of his rematch with Tony Thompson - so that they can agree a domestic showdown for the summer.

Price rejected the chance to fight Chisora in order to avenge his second-round knockout by Thompson in February with the two scheduled to meet again in Liverpool on July 6.

The British heavyweight scene is in reasonable health and a clash between Chisora and Price appears inevitable at some point.

Chisora, who meets Argentinian Hector Alfredo on Frank Warren's 'Rule Britannia' bill at Wembley Arena on Saturday, admires Price but is eager to crush his rival. [Click Here To Read More]

The question is, what will Price do different in the rematch.

Nope. He was caught by a cuffing half punch and he was knocked out. Nothing lucky about that punch, simply because it wasn't a spectacular punch. 99% of boxers would have absorbed a similar punch as if nothing happened. Christ, Rios eats uppercut flakes for breakfast!

I dont believe in'Lucky Punches'-If a boxer aims and throws a punch that lands,
how is that Luck?Lucky punches could only happen if both fighters were blindfolded

Price looked very bad. Even Thompson looked surprised.

If Tony Thompson doesn't knock David Price out again in the rematch someone will eventually. There was nothing lucky about the punch Thompson threw that knocked Price out.

Keep his hands up, and keep punches away from his neck. He needs to choose which punches to use more effectively, and notice opponents movement. I think he can improve

when your chin is that bad, you will never have a high ceiling.

I mean you have bad chins and then you have David Price.

That's the thing - and this is HW, guys like Price and Seth Mitchell will never go too far when they can't take a proper punch.
