Comments Thread For: Donaire vs. Juanma Clash The Next Target Says Arum

Dethroned WBO super bantamweight champion Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire, who lost his title to former Cuban two-time Olympic gold medalist Guillermo Rigondeaux at the iconic Radio City Music Hall in New York on Saturday, plans to move up in weight and fight former WBO featherweight champion Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez
    later this year.

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum told BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard and ABS-CBN that Donaire "really struggled to make the weight and I think that took a little zip out of him and this kid Rigondeaux was awfully fast and awfully elusive." [Click Here To Read More]

And Donaire will look like a million bucks in dispatching him.

Oh, this is the comeback move.

Nonito takes out JML, whose soul was eaten, digested, and by Salido, already.

This satisfies the fan base, the casuals, writers looking to be "entertained," and Arum's pocket.

Give it to Arum: its a great plan, really.

ps of course, if JML has one last big shot in him, I would laugh

If it happens, I'll be rooting for jml. Not a fan, usually root against him, but against donire I'm in his corner. WarLopez! His power takes donire out in the late rounds tko. Mock my words.

Perfect fight for nonoto a fighter with no defense and a questionable chin.

Reward the loser with a big fight and a list of excuses as to why "fight was close" but the winner gets shafted and told he is almost impossible to promote.

Sad part is most on here will buy into it
