If Trout does beat Canelo which is a big IF then the world is his for the taking. It will definitely get him to that next level he already has a ton of support in New Mexico this win will give him a bunch of exposure and increase his fan base. I think a fight against Kirkland of Ishe Smith would be next just to keep momentum and then a showdown with Floyd next year. But again I don't think he'll get past Canelo.

What's the big deal? Cotto has been shot since the Margarito fight. He was dead meat in the 2nd fight if they let it go another round.
