Comments Thread For: Rigondeaux on Donaire Fight: Fans Can Expect My Best!

WBA super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (11-0) recently appeared on BoxingScene Radio to talk about his upcoming unification fight against Nonito Donaire.

The highly anticipated fight was in danger of not happening when Donaire declared that he would pull out of the fight if Rigondeaux didn't agree to random drug testing throughout their respective training camps. Rigondeaux, perhaps using a little bit of gamesmanship, delayed signing the contract until almost the final hour. He told us that he has no problems with the VADA drug testing.

yeah, his best track meet impression
Rigo will taste Nonito's power, then punk out if he isn't KO'd
he won't mind running to spare himself from taking a beating
whatever Rigo can do, he'll do early on
once Nonito tags him the fight will end, mentally if not outright

would you rather get punched by donaire in the balls 10 times or make out with him for appoximately a minute?

        Filipinos fans are crazy.

There is no way donaire can tag Rigo.look at donaire's fights. all of them he gets tags all over the face, Watch against wilfredo vazquez, against narvaez etc, he ates everything.Rigo is untouchable.Donaire is a lie not pound per pound,i want apologies after the rigo win.

            Looking forward to it.

A week to go and I'm expecting a brilliant display from Rigo.

For the Ko viewers and not boxing viewers

there is a difference in watching ko's and watching boxing skills.A true champion pound per pound does not get tag and finishes his fight defigured as donaire does.An amateur in this case is a pro and pro's are amateurs.money fights doesn't make you a pro.No accuracy on donaire at all.watch his fights he misses 80 punches of 88.

I'm glad both fighters are in their top shape so no excuses to whoever loses on April 13. I'm rooting for Nonito but I respect the talent of Rigondeaux and what he brings to the ring.
