Victor Ortiz only lasted four rounds against Floyd Mayweather Jr. when they met in the ring, but has at least matched his welterweight rival on the dance floor.
The former welterweight titlist survived through Week Three of competition on ABC’s ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ with the Tuesday results show featuring nowhere near the amount of drama Ortiz was forced to endure a week ago. Ortiz drew rave reviews from the judges for his Contemporary performance on Monday evening, enjoying the greatest scoring improvement among contestants from last week to this week. For the first time in the competition, the boxer felt like he belonged on the dance floor.
