Promoter Kalle Sauerland of Sauerland Event is already getting prepared to get the ball rolling on a trilogy encounter between WBO super middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz (44-3, 25KOs) and former beltholder Arthur Abraham (36-4, 28KOs).

Last August, Abraham won a close twelve round decision over Stieglitz to capture the title. But then last Saturday in Magdeburg, Stieglitz got revenge with a fourth round TKO of Abraham. Should be a good trilogy fight.

You'll see the Arthur Abraham that came out strong against Andre Ward, so Stieglitz will have a real fight on his hands for the first 4 rounds until Abraham gasses.

I expect this to be somewhat a passing of the torch though. I like what I saw from Stieglitz in the 2nd fight and expect him to win the trilogy.

Abraham deserves a trilogy imo but I think globally boxing fans would prefer Stieglitz v Groves or Ward.

Abraham fought a wierd fight, he just let robert use him as a punching bag, I am unable to understand have such a strategy would work in any senario

Sauerland is desperately begging for the rubber match because Abraham has nowhere to go.....now Sauerland has to give options and Stiglitz`promoter is in the drving seat!

The 2nd fight was just starting to heat up before the stoppage. I'll be very interested in seeing the rubber match.

Can`t see how the promoters will find an agreement. Sauerland always thinks he is in the driver`s seat, but he isn`t anymore. Abraham now has to sign some options to get a rematch!

A little more careful?!? Dude put up his mitts as soon as the fight started. How much careful can you get? He started way too slow and Stieglitz saw that and capitalized on it. I hope Abraham starts to fight from the opening bell next time.

can someone in charge here find out about Abraham's gloves weighing 9 oz at the Rules Meeting...there was a problem with the weight of the adidas gloves he chose...both were supposed to wear adidas gloves but at the meeting after the problem was resolved...Abraham wore 10 oz adidas and Rob was able to wear the 10 oz brand of his choice instead of the adidas...I hope somebody here can find out EXACTLY what happened....thats what I understood during the german telecast...I think my translation is about 90-95% accurate
