Former WBA light heavyweight champion Hugo Garay (34-7, 18KOs) was arrested for attempted murder in connection to a wild brawl that took place on February 24th near Estadio José Dellagiovanna (widely known as Coloso de Victoria), a multi-use stadium in Victoria, Argentina. The brawl took place after a football match. When rumors began to spread that Garay was involved in the incident, the boxer openly denied being involved. After further investigation by the police department of Buenos Aires, the fighter was arrested.
