Freddie Roach responded to Joel Diaz’s disrespectful comments, but he would prefer that Ruslan Provodnikov gives the most important retort of all Saturday night against Timothy Bradley.

“This is a big fight for Ruslan, the biggest fight of his life,” Roach said on a conference call to promote their 12-round fight for Bradley’s WBO welterweight title. “It is a great opportunity and I’m glad he has the opportunity. I do believe that Freddie's parkinson had caught up with him. It is evident in the last 3 fights of Manny. He was the best trainer a few years ago but I think it's time for him to call it quits and concentrate with his ilness.

Freddie is a demanding trainer..............................to himself!!! He is one of the hardest working trainers in the business today. He works mitts and body pad till the work is done. He studies his fighters opponents and has good sloid plans ready to impliment! Anyone who thinks that this guy is lapsed in any way is a FOOL!
I knew this guy when he was a young fighter and his brother too, their from Holyoke or some town near that in Mass. He was a tuff kid who fought hard and has worked hard for everything he has today! He was taught by some of the best trainers and cornermen in the business so to have "fans" say its time to quit or he's doing this wrong is a god damn joke. Shut the **** up until someone hires you as a trainer you have **** to say about one!!! thanx
