Sounds like this article misunderstood what he said, or worded the title of the article quite poorly.

He's saying he will not fight until he's 50 - meaning 50 is too old, and he won't stay that long. He wants to fight Cleverly but will not "be in there at 50". Not that he's waiting until he's 50 to fight Cleverly, rofl.
