Should the Networks keep allowing for Hopkins and Andre Ward to cherry-pick?

Hopkins is cherry picking? Cloud, Dawson, Pascal for a 48 year old they are the tip top of the 175 divison. Hopkins shouldn't be moving down in weight to fight Ward. Being weight drained at 48 (and he hasn't got the best stamina at his age) would be a horrific idea.

Ward has consistently fought the best for the better part of 5 years. Starting with Miranda he fought Miranda, Kessler, Froch, Bika, Abraham, Green and Dawson (shouldn't have fought him at 168 though).

At the time outside of Dawson (who was no. 1 at LHW) they were all in the top 10 at SMW. Kessler was no. 1, Froch was no. 2 when Ward fought them. Abraham has gone on to win a title and is no. 6 at the moment (boxrec no. 4). Dirrell retired for however many years.

It's only now that new guys like Groves, Degale, Stevenson, Oosthuizen have stepped up and Dirrell has come back. The only guy Ward didn't fight was Bute who has been stopped by Froch and almost beaten by Graschev, I would still like to see him fight Bute though.

But you picked two horrific examples of cherry picking.

If there's two fighters in the game right now that U cannot say are "cherry picking" there fights. It's Bhop and ward they continue to fight the best in there division. Not a good thread.

Tavoris Cloud was far from a cherrypick.

With Hopkins already fought Dawson twice, and Pascal twice, and Campillo having been TKO'ed after Hopkins-Cloud was signed, Cloud was the last good top LHW left to fight. He was the best fighter that Hopkins could have fought, that he hadn't fought before. I am glad Hopkins chose to fight Cloud.

Stop being an *******. Hopkins wants to teach Ward not fight him. He's 48 why in the **** would he fight a prime p4p #1 he's not trying to be the greatest fighter lol he's just staying competitive. Ward would get nothing from that fight except a little exposure and if he wins he beat up an old man and if he loses he ****** anyway -thats what people would say-
Let them be. Why isn't Mayweather fighting Broner?
