Comments Thread For: Mike Jones Now Working With Eddie Mustafa Muhammad

Trainer Eddie Mustafa Muhammad’s stable of quality fighters continues to grow, as the former light heavyweight champion is now working with Philadelphia’s Mike Jones.

Jones’ talent has always been evident, and in teaming up with Muhammad he will be looking to bounce back from his only professional setback this past June when he was stopped in the 11th round by Randall Bailey in a clash for the vacant IBF welterweight strap.

As is often the case with Muhammad, he was contacted unexpectedly by Jones a few days ago and seems intrigued by the thought of helping him rebuild his career.

Mike Jones, what ever happened to him! seems ages ago he was KO'd. I may get laughed at but he reminds me of Khan in the sense of he has good skills for boxing, but hes chinny. He should never allowed himself to be caught by Bailey. Simple.
