Light heavyweight prospect Eleider Alvarez (11-0, 7KOs) will face veteran Nicholson Poulard (19-3, 9KOs) on March 22nd at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. The NABO/NABA championships will be at stake. Poulard, who won his last six bouts, is the brother of former champion Jean Pascal. The last time he tasted defeat was in 2009, by way of decision to Sebastian Demers. Alvarez is a rising star and being pushed fast. He already has wins over more experienced fighters like Danny McIntosh, Shawn Hawk and Rayco Saunders. In the main event that night, Adonis Stevenson will face Darnell Boone in a rematch.
