Comments Thread For: Arum: Donaire vs. Darchinyan Might Be a Better Fight

There is a possibility that undefeated WBA super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (11-0. 8 KO’s) may be replaced by Vic Darchinyan in the title fight against WBO/Ring Magazine and WBC Diamond Belt champion Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire (31-1, 20 KO’s) in Donaire's fourth title defense possibly at New York’s Madison Square Garden on April 13.

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum told BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard that there is “a real problem. Its ******” referring to Rigondeaux’s demand that Top Rank settle a pending legal dispute with Miami-based Caribe Promotions before he signs the contract to fight Donaire.

Well since you're a bum ass promoter and won't let Donaire fight Mares, and with Rigo being a ***** and refusing to sign the contract I guess it's the only option.

i said it before but ill say it again so more people can see. Bob is a snake and up to some ****. His crown ***els are Rios and Donaire since Pac is past it and obv doesnt care about him. Both times rios and donaire are set to fight their toughest opponent (rigo and gamboa) theres "legal issues" and these guys fight bums (rematching a guy he just KO'd. Fighting old ass Acre and Nishioka) Blame bob not the fighters
