The careers of Terry Davis/ Lou Savarese.

Both were white heavyweights. Davis was six foot three around 225 and lou was six foot five and his weight was 220 to 245 or so. Lou had an extensisve amamter career and as a fighter was more developed slowly to fine tune his game and and had some ok victories over name opponents liek witherspoon, whitaker, , while davis had only 5 amamteur bouts and was rhused, when he stepped up in comp early on he was stopped by nate fitch in one. Go to boxrec.coma nd you can see how one figher was an investment being develped and one, davis, was more or less rushed into a pro career. Davis and savarese were both big punchers but lou was better in other area...............I had hopes for lou to go all the way but he did not but still had a good solid career, while davis never beat anyone in the top ten. If terry davis had been develped longer, perhaps have some record building fights to gain experience and a longer amateur career could he have gone farther...........perhsps so........ rumour has it lou has slow speech, I did not notice but also did not rule it out..... I would be curious how much money savarese made in his career, hile how much davis made...............
