Comments Thread For: Martin Coggi Destroys Mariano Robledo, Lopez Retains

Buenos Aires boxer Martin "The Little Prince" Coggi (28-5-3, 15 KOs) surprised Mariano "La Pantera" Robledo (14-4-1, 5 KOs) with a first round knockout to capture the interim-Latino welterweight championship of the World Boxing Council (WBC) at the Sports Fray Mamerto Esquiú in Catamarca, Argentina. Coggi caught him cold in the first minute with a hard left and then followed up with a barrage to finish Robledo off.

Saw the fight (only a 1-rounder) on youtube, Coggi didn't exactly destroy Robledo, hit him with a decent shot, Robledo didn't make a huge effort to get up, end of story.

Coggi running around the ring screaming in victory after the k.o. was funny.
