  • Comments Thread For: Wach Denies He Used Anabolic Steroids For Klitschko

Polish heavyweight giant Mariusz Wach (27-1, 15KOs) says he never received any official communication that informed him that he tested positive for an anabolic steroid in connection to his November 10th fight with WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF champion Wlaidmir Klitschko. According to German paper Bild, Wach tested positive for an anabolic steroid in his “A” sample, and faces a one-year ban from Germany Boxing Federation if his "B" sample also tests positive.

Damn, would've been nice to know this "before" the fight.

Oh well, anyway, we should let the commission do their job.

I think this has a way of underscoring the dominance of Klitchko imoh. Dude was juiced and still got a beatdown!

Talk about an epidemic. I'll hold my tongue until conclusive evidence surfaces though.

The ones getting caught are just the tip of the iceberg. Just because Wach gets caught doesn't mean Wlad is clean, for example. Maybe Wlad just has a better regimen. You never know these days, is the problem. Look at a guy like Broner: if he ain't juiced, I'll eat my shirt.

Of course Wach is not guilty before the B sample comes out positive, but if it does then this incident on top of the tampered gloves really should result in a harsher penalty than a one year ban.
