Comments Thread For: Gesta Plans To Dominate Vazquez From The Start

Undefeated Filipino southpaw Mercito “No Mercy” Geeta (26-0-1, 14 KO's) plans to dominate Miguel Vazquez (32-3-13 KO's) of Mexico from the opening bell in their IBF lightweight title fight on the undercard of Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez IV at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on December 8.

Trainer and co-manager Vince Parra told the BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard they have “a real good plan in place and we expect victory. The plan is aggressive obviously, and we’re looking at taking this fight one round at a time, dominating each round. We are looking to make an entertaining fight and come out on top by decision or knockout.”

Talk is cheap, Gesta and his camp can rave on all they want about how they will dominate and beat Miguel Vazquez. The reality is that Gesta is going to lose this fight. Miguel is too quick and too smart of a fighter, and once Gesta gets delivered his first careea loss, then Broner will be Titere's next victim, thats if Broners managment have the guts to sign up for the fight. on December 8th Miguel will once again prove that he is unbeatable at 135 pounds.

The tell-all in this fight will be how Gesta handles Vazquez's power. If he can walk through them, Vazquez is in for a long night and probably gets stopped.

        That'd be an effective plan.
