    BB&t Center, Sunrise, Florida - IBO junior welterweight champion Khabib Allakhverdiev (18-0, 8KOs) retained his title and won the vacant WBA "regular" junior welterweight belt with an eight round technical split decision over previously undefeated former champion Joan Guzman (33-1-1, 20KOs). The scores were 77-76 for Khabib, 76-75 for Guzman and 76-75 for Khabib. BoxingScene had it 77-74 for Khabib.

    Guzman is a bum and looked amateurish. Can't believe they almost robbed Khabib.

    Ref needs to be disciplined too, two clear KD's were called slips.
