Comments Thread For: Guerrero Confident: I Know Berto Can Be Knocked Out!

Is Robert Guerrero considered one of the most talented, yet underrated, fighters in boxing today?

Would a victory over Andre Berto tonight land him a date against Floyd Mayweather?

How could Guerrero, who has only stopped one of his last six opponents he has faced, claim he can knock out Berto?

There are a number of questions that surround Guerrero in his upcoming bout against Berto. Which makes it an intriguing fight whether you are a “Ghost” fan, a Berto fan, or a fan of boxing.

Would the same amount of question yield the same amount of answers after tonight when either Guerrero or Berto have their arm raised in victory. Possibly. But Guerrero thinks that he has more solutions and could be the answer as to who could be considered the top fighter in the welterweight division, which could result in that long-awaited fight with Mayweather.

if Ortiz couldn't I don't see how guerrero can because he's just so much smaller than Ortiz and way slower too,he's too small for the weight class

Berto eats right uppercuts like candy. Guerrero will utilize the jab heavily and crush the body. Once the hands drop and the legs slow, the straight lefts will rain down on a tired Andre.

Guerrero got an old, shot Casamayor to showcase his skills. Guerrero was knocked down in the process of getting a UD. He made what was an easy UD on paper against Escobedo, look like he was going through the war in the ring. Finally, the guy couldn't put away Katsidis which let's face it is tough as nails but at the time he was just coming off the stoppage loss to Marquez and was basically put in front of Guerrero to get stopped too but Guerrero couldn't do it.

Guerrero isn't hurting Berto, let alone knock him down, forget about a stoppage. He should worry about getting stopped himself.

He is right Bert can be knocked out...it just wont be by Guerrero. Guerrero is the one I believe gets KOed.

Not everyone can up up in weight classes and KO dudes (without drugs that is)

Conventional think has Berto taking out The Ghost. A guy that is a heavier puncher at a heavier weight class for his whole career takes out a lighter guy that is not known as a heavy puncher.

Berto has fought like a punk against smaller guys before
he was punking out in a fight with Ortiz even after dropping him
fuck Berto, Guerrero can beat him down and maybe force a TKO late
but he's not strong enough to get a real KO over a guy that big
