By Daniel Vano - BoxingScene.com understands that the highly anticipated all Scottish clash between Scott Harrison and John Simpson will go ahead as planned in Glasgow’s Kelvin Hall, despite Harrison being sentenced to four years in prison yesterday.
An insider in Harrison’s training camp told us: “The fight is still going ahead as planned on the 1st of December. Steve Williams [who is training Scott in Spain] is in contact with Alex Morrison — Harrison’s manager and promoter— and both are working continually behind the scenes.
