Comments Thread For: Boente: 100 Million Euro Won't Make Klitschko vs Huck

It was reported earlier that Sauerland Event made an offer of 5 million euro for Wladimir Klitschko to fight WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck. Wladimir, who defends the WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF titles against Mariusz Wach on November 10th, rejected the offer. Huck returns on Saturday, defending his title against former WBA champion Firat Arslan.

Klitschkos are on RTL; if they wouldn't change that agreement for David Haye, they're not changing it for Huck. If Huck wants the shot, he has to step out of his ARD agreement/promotional contract.

    So... no Klitschko-Huck.

If you want to fight a Klitschko you have to agree to their rules. Huck is the challenger so he has to fight on Klitschkos Promotion and not the other way around. If Team Sauerland really wants it i think they could do that. Its just for one fight.

It's not so much "wouldn't" but "couldn't". If they broke their contract they could and would be sued for huge damages.
