World boxing champions Chris John and Daud Yordan are taking up light training workouts in the final phase of their preparations ahead of their Nov. 9 title defenses in Singapore.
Chris will face Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo of Thailand, who is said to have built killing punches that have stopped 27 opponents within the distance in his 44 wins. He has never lost.
“I have to anticipate the Thai’s long and short punches,” Chris said as quoted by Antara news agency in Semarang, Central Java on Monday.
