Comments Thread For: Telefutura Results From San Antonio, Texas

By Jake Donovan - Antonio Escalante and Rocky Juarez meet in a crossroads bout Saturday evening at Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas. The evening's feature attraction is a must-win situation for both fighters; Escalante continues to tread water while the badly faded Juarez has long ago been written off.

The televised opener saw unbeaten featherweight newcomer Julian Ramirez stop Steve Gutierrez (4-2-1, 2KO) in the fifth round of their scheduled six-round supporting bout. Ramirez (5-0, 4KO) was in control every step of the way before forcing the stoppage at 0:16 of round five. [Click Here To Read More]

Glad to see Rocky still has it in him. I hope he can land one more big fight and entertain on a much bigger stage for one more night.

Rocky's one of the good guy's in this sport, he's been robbed on the scorecard's numerous times (escobedo,Litzau just to name a couple). Good win for Rocky.

A good win but definitely not a reason to continue IMO.

I was there last night and Rocky is not shot. Rocky just has to let his hands go. When he does you can see that he still has enough left to compete at a high level.
